The 12th BTT Ride Bombeiros de Messines is a popular event organized by the Culture and Sports Group of the Volunteer Firefighters of São Bartolomeu de Messines. It aims to raise funds for the corporation's operation and promote sport in the region. Open to participants aged 14 and over, it is ideal for those who want to enjoy the landscape of the barrocal and the Algarve mountains.

The event features two distinct routes: a 60 km route, more demanding and recommended for experienced athletes, and a 40 km route with intermediate difficulty, suitable for those seeking a more relaxed and leisure ride. The start and finish are at Avenida João de Deus, in front of the Volunteer Firefighters' Headquarters. The routes are well marked and signposted, with mandatory helmet and bib use.

⏰ Schedule

• Day before: 15:00–19:00 — Registration desk at the Firefighters' Headquarters
• Race day: 07:00–08:30 — Registration desk
• 09:00 — Start of routes

🎽 Registration includes Bib, sports insurance, solid and liquid supplies during the route, access to showers after the race, electronic timing, and entry to prize draws for those who purchase lunch.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top 3 in conventional and electric bike categories, regardless of age groups or gender.
