Registration is online until June 8, 2026, via apedalar.pt, with mandatory payment and confirmation.

Start and finish are at Avenida de Santiago, near Vila Nova de Santo André Central Park.

What equipment should I bring?

Helmet use is mandatory. Recommended to bring water, mobile phone, spare tube, patches, and pump.

About the Event

🚵‍♂️ 15th Rota do Casqueiro MTB Marathon 2026

The 15th edition of the "Rota do Casqueiro" MTB Marathon takes place on June 14, 2026, in Vila Nova de Santo André, honoring the traditional Alentejo wheat bread. Organized by Os Kotas association, this event is part of the Setúbal Cycling District calendar and the Regional XCM Cup, attracting both licensed and amateur riders for a challenging endurance race.

The main Marathon route is approximately 70 km long, traversing rural paths and trails in the Santiago do Cacém and Grândola municipalities, marked and supported by GPS track. Simultaneously, a Half Marathon of about 40 km is held, open to riders aged 14 and above, with a free pace and marked course.

Start and finish are located at Avenida de Santiago, near Vila Nova de Santo André Central Park, with a lead car for safety and strict course control. There are control points, solid and liquid refreshment stations, and mechanical support to ensure the best experience.
