🏃 19th São Brás Cross 2026 Experience the thrill of mountain running in the heart of Castro Daire! A race that challenges athletes of all ages on a scenic Up and Down course.

The 19th São Brás Cross, organized by the Municipality of Castro Daire in partnership with the Portuguese Athletics Federation, takes place on April 19, 2026, in Granja, Castro Daire. This edition is part of the WMRA World Cup 2026, the Portuguese National Mountain Running Championship, and the "(PER) CORRER CASTRO DAIRE" 2026 series as the 3rd stage, bringing together senior, veteran, junior, and youth athletes for a high-level competition.

The main course is a challenging mountain Up and Down route with 10.9 km and 628 meters elevation gain for seniors and veterans, and 5 km with 278 meters elevation gain for juniors. Youth races take place on an adapted urban circuit, and the São Brás Walk offers a non-competitive 5.3 km experience.

Start and finish at the inflatable arch of the Municipality of Castro Daire, located near the roundabout at the entrance of Granja. The course is marked with orange ribbons and signs, with liquid aid stations at 4 km and 7.5 km for seniors and veterans, and final aid at the finish line.
