🚀 36th Ovar Half Marathon 2026

The 36th edition of the Ovar Half Marathon takes place on October 4, 2026, organized by AFIS/Ovar – Weekend Athletes. This iconic race in the Portuguese calendar is a perfect opportunity for runners and walkers to kick off their sporting season in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

The event is held in the city of Ovar, with start and finish in the urban center, running certified roads by the Portuguese Athletics Federation and World Athletics. The event includes the Half Marathon (21.0975 km), the Azulejo Race (10 km), a Mini-Marathon for youth, and a Walk open to all ages.

• October 3-4: bib and kit pickup at Salão Paroquial de Ovar (time to be announced)

• Finish control closes at 12:30

🎽 Registration includes Bib, sports insurance, finishers kit, refreshments, medical assistance, and post-race showers.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 10 overall in the Half Marathon, prizes for veterans, and honorary trophies for local athletes. Prizes for top 5 in Azulejo Race and veterans.
