37th Festa do Avante! Race 2026

🏃 The iconic 37th edition of the Festa do Avante! Race takes place on September 6, 2026, in Amora, Seixal. Organized by a committee integrated in the Festa do Avante! Sports Commission, this event offers a unique opportunity for federated or non-federated athletes, clubs, associations, and individuals to come together in a spirit of friendship, solidarity, and celebration of sport.

The race starts at 09:30 on Avenida Silva Gomes, next to E-Leclerc, following a course homologated by the Portuguese Athletics Federation that passes through Quinta da Atalaia, returns near the 25 de Abril stage, continues along the Seixal waterfront, and finishes back at the start line.

The course is entirely urban, passing through iconic areas of the Festa do Avante!, providing a unique sporting and cultural experience.

🎽 The race includes refreshment points at 6 km and at the finish line to keep athletes energized.

🎽 Registration includes Bib, personal accident insurance, refreshments, Sunday entry to Festa do Avante! for all finishers.

🏆 Prizes Trophies or cups for the top 3 finishers in each male and female category. Cups for the top 10 teams, counting the best 5 athletes per team.

🏅 Categories Juniors (18-19 years), Seniors (20-34 years), Veterans (various categories from 35 years) for both men and women.
