The avenues of Lisbon once again become the stage for the traditional International 1st of May Race, an iconic event gathering thousands of athletes and sports lovers in the heart of spring.

Organized by the Lisbon Trade Unions Union / CGTP-IN with support from Lisbon City Hall and INATEL Foundation, and technical organization by Xistarca, this road race celebrates its 43rd edition with two distances for all levels.

The 15 km race starts at the 1st of May Stadium, crossing Lisbon's main avenues to the 1st of May Sports Park, with liquid refreshments along the route and solid refreshments at the finish. The mini-race/walk of 4 km starts at Alameda D. Afonso Henriques and finishes at the 1st of May Stadium, ideal for those seeking a lighter and more relaxed experience.

⏰ Schedule May 1, 2026:

• 08:00-09:00 – Kit pickup at 1st of May Stadium (extra cost for same-day pickup)
• 10:00 – 15 km Race Start
• 10:30 – Mini-Race/Walk 4 km Start

🎽 Registration includes Unisex t-shirt, bib, chip (15 km), liquid and solid refreshments, sports insurance, finisher medal, and digital diploma.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top 3 male and female finishers by category in the 15 km race, trophies for the top 3 teams, medals for all finishers.
