🚀 Biorace Challenge 2026 - The Obstacle Race That Pushes You to Your Limits!

Challenge yourself on a unique course in direct contact with nature along the BioRia trails in Estarreja. Organized by the Municipality of Estarreja, this event offers an unforgettable experience with natural and artificial obstacles designed to entertain and challenge you.

The race starts and finishes at the event venue near the BioRia Environmental Interpretation Center – Salreu, where all necessary facilities are provided for athlete comfort.

🏔️ Races

• Elite 10k – ±10 km · Starts in waves between 14:20 and 17:00 · Cutoff 2h45
• 10k – ±10 km · Starts in waves between 14:30 and 17:00 · Cutoff 2h45
• Elite 5k – ±5 km · Starts in waves between 10:45 and 12:00 · Cutoff 1h45
• 5km – ±5 km · Starts in waves between 10:50 and 12:00 · Cutoff 1h45
• Junior (6-14 years) – between 10:00 and 10:20 · Age-appropriate race
• Special / Inclusive – 10:30 · By invitation only

⏰ Schedule

• Sept 24 & 25: Registration desk open 09:00 to 19:30
• Sept 26 (race day): Registration desk 09:00 to 17:30
• Staggered starts as per indicated time blocks
• Awards ceremony 1 hour after last start

🎽 Registration includes Official kit with technical t-shirt, bib, and timing chip (for 5k, 10k, and elite races), personal accident insurance, access to showers, baggage check, and first aid.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 male and female finishers in 5k and 10k (including elites). Trophies for top 3 teams in 5k and 10k. Medals for all participants in junior and special races.
