🚀 XII Kilómetro Vertical de Las Hurdes – Tío Picho 2026

Enjoy the thrilling twelfth edition of the Kilómetro Vertical de Las Hurdes, hosting the Spanish Vertical Kilometer Clubs Championship and the final race of the Spanish Vertical Kilometer Cup. Organized by Agrupación Deportiva IES Gregorio Marañón with support from the Spanish and Extremadura Mountain and Climbing Federations, this event is part of the prestigious Euroace Sport 2026 circuit.

The race takes place in the stunning natural setting of Sierra de la Grajera, starting at Ladrillar's main square and ascending to Cerro Mingorro, featuring a technical and demanding 3.5 km course with 1015 meters of positive elevation gain. Variants include the Half Vertical Kilometer and a hiking route to enjoy the surroundings.

• 07:30 — Bib pickup at Ladrillar Square
• 09:00 — Call to start area
• 09:30 — Neutralized start from Ladrillar Square
• 10:00 — Real start from Ladrillar natural pool
• 14:00 — Awards ceremony and lunch at Ladrillar Square

🎽 Registration includes Runner's bag with technical shirt and local products, access to liquid and solid aid stations, liability and accident insurance, medical assistance, lockers, showers, physiotherapy service, final meal, and eligibility for trophies and prizes.
