🚵‍♂️ Desafio Cumes do Marão 2026

The Desafio Cumes do Marão is a unique trail running adventure inviting you to explore the rugged Serra do Marão in Amarante on September 26, 2026. Organized by Associação Desportiva Marão Trail and SavageNatur Events®, this event offers four challenging distances, passing iconic peaks and breathtaking landscapes.

The races are circular, starting and finishing at Aldeia Cumes in the village of Ansiães (41.25009, -7.95410). The course mainly consists of technical mountain trails with significant elevation changes, demanding strong physical and mental preparation. The race is semi-self-supported with varied aid stations and mandatory safety equipment.
