The Desafío Lagos de Covadonga is an iconic road cycling event held annually in Asturias, Spain. Organized by Unipublic, its 34th edition in 2026 pays tribute to cyclist Fabio Aru, offering a unique experience for cycling enthusiasts seeking to challenge themselves on one of the most legendary climbs in the cycling world.
The route crosses the stunning natural landscapes of the Lagos de Covadonga, featuring demanding climbs and breathtaking views. The start and finish are located at Avenida Covadonga, 21, Cangas de Onís, providing a welcoming atmosphere and excellent infrastructure for participants.
