The Día do Deporte A Merca is a popular event held on April 12, 2026, in A Merca, Ourense. Organized by the Municipality of A Merca, this 27th edition of the Cross Popular and 16th Andaina offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a 10 km route through historic and natural paths of the municipality, combining sport, culture, and nature.

The course runs through the paths of Solveira, Matusiños, Paradela, Miguel Ángel Blanco Monument, Peneda da Lebre, and canastros, finishing at the municipal pavilion. It is a medium difficulty route that recovers old and disused paths in a privileged natural environment around the Arnoia river.

⏰ Schedule April 12, 2026 (Sunday): 09:00 – Bib pickup for Cross and gifts for Andaina at the municipal pavilion 10:00 – Start of the Cross Popular (timed race) 10:00 – Start of the free Andaina 11:30 – Children's gymkhana inside the municipal pavilion

🎽 Registration includes Participation in the race, bib for the Cross, participation gift (100 t-shirts for the Cross, gifts for others), timing and electronic device for time control in the Cross, changing rooms, toilets and showers, medical and ambulance service, and a snack at the end of the route.
