🚴‍♂️ Vila Nova de Cerveira Youth Duathlon 2026

The Vila Nova de Cerveira Youth Duathlon is the National Youth Clubs Championship, jointly organized by Pedal’Arte Cycling Association and Vila Nova de Cerveira City Hall, with technical support from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation. This unique event on May 1, 2026, brings together Portugal's best young athletes for an exciting competition tailored to different age groups.

The race takes place on the avenues and streets of Vila Nova de Cerveira, featuring running and cycling segments on asphalt and parallel surfaces with minimal elevation changes. The start and finish are at the Transition Park near the Feira Park, with solid and liquid refreshments at the finish and recovery zone.

🏔️ Races National Youth Clubs Championship – Distances adapted by category:

• Benjamins (born 2017-2019): Run 300m + Bike 1000m + Run 200m
• Infants (2015-2016): Run 800m + Bike 2000m + Run 400m
• Initiates (2013-2014): Run 1000m + Bike 4200m + Run 500m
• Juveniles (2011-2012): Run 2000m + Bike 8000m (2 laps) + Run 1000m

⏰ Schedule May 1, Friday:

• 11:30–13:30 — Registration (Transition Park)
• 11:40–13:40 — Check In and technical verification
• 13:45 — Deadline to remain in Transition Park
• 13:50 — Technical Delegate meeting with coaches
• 14:00 — Start of races by category and gender
• 17:00 — Check Out and equipment collection
• 17:30 — Awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Participation and classification, solid and liquid refreshments, personal accident insurance.

🏆 Prizes Individual trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Infants, Initiates, and Juveniles categories, male and female. Participation medal for Benjamins. Team trophies for top 5 clubs.

📍 Location Vila Nova de Cerveira, with registration and transition park at Feira Park and Municipal Pavilion.
