Discover the unique beauty of the Basque Coast while pushing your limits at Flysch Trail Zumaia 2026, an iconic trail running event organized by Zumaiako Udala.

This 17th edition takes place on October 3, 2026, with start and finish at the iconic Plaza Eusebio Gurrutxaga in the heart of Zumaia, Gipuzkoa. A race set in the UNESCO Global Geopark, offering spectacular coastal scenery and a technical, challenging course.

The main 24 km race features 1007 meters of elevation gain, while the short version covers 14 km with 487 meters of elevation. Both races run on mountain trails with solid and liquid aid stations. Athletes must bring their own drinking container as no cups are provided.

• October 3: 13:45 – Awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Bib, sports insurance, solid and liquid aid stations, bag drop service, access to showers at Lubaki sports center, trophies and prizes for winners.

🏆 Prizes For the long race (24 km): cash prizes and trophies for absolute, master and local categories, including women, men and non-binary. For the short race (14 km): cash prizes and trophies for absolute, sub-18 and local categories, also for women, men and non-binary.
