The Folgosa Armamar Douro Triathlon is an exciting event featuring multiple triathlon and duathlon formats, organized by the Sports and Cultural Association of Folgosa do Douro and the Municipality of Armamar, with technical support from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation. This edition takes place on October 5, 2026, in the heart of the Douro region, offering an athletic challenge in stunning scenery.

The races take place along the Douro River, with start and finish at the Folgosa do Douro Pier and downtown Armamar. The courses are on paved roads, with swimming segments in the river, cycling on the N222 and connecting roads, and running on a mostly flat urban circuit. The event includes solid and liquid refreshments at key points to support athletes.

• Sprint Aquabike – 800 m swim, 23.5 km bike · Start 09:00 · Open to athletes born in 2010 or earlier
• Super Sprint Triathlon – 400 m swim, 10 km bike, 2 km run · Start 09:00 · Open to athletes born in 2012 or earlier
• Super Sprint Duathlon – 2.5 km run, 10 km bike, 2 km run · Start 09:00 · Open to athletes born in 2012 or earlier

• 07:10–08:40 — Check-in and equipment placement at transition areas
• 08:45 — Transition area closes
