🌊 Global Ocean Cascais 2026

The Estoril Cascais Crossing is one of Portugal's most iconic open water swimming events, organized by Global Ocean in partnership with Cascais City Hall and other entities. This edition celebrates ocean protection and offers a unique experience amidst the natural beauty of Cascais Bay.

The race takes place at Praia da Ribeira, with start and finish at the same location, following carefully marked buoyed courses. Swimmers face open waters with safety boats and full support, in an environmentally responsible setting.

• 300m Race – Start 09:30 · Cutoff 15 min · Minimum age 10 years
• 1,500m Race – Start 14:15 · Cutoff 60 min after 1st finisher · Minimum age 12 years
• 3,000m Race – Start 10:30 · Cutoff 60 min after 1st finisher · Minimum age 14 years
• 4 x 300m Relay – Start 15:30 · Minimum age 12 years

🎽 Registration includes Welcome Bag with event T-shirt and swim cap (mandatory), race bib, insurance, electronic timing chip, course safety and support, and baggage storage.

🏆 Prizes Medals for top 3 in each age group and gender in 1,500m and 3,000m races, trophies for top 3 overall male and female finishers, monetary prizes in 3,000m race (€200, €100, €50), medals for top 3 relay teams and trophies for best 3 teams.
