Experience the unique adventure of the Grande Trail Fisgas de Ermelo, a trail running event that takes you through the stunning landscapes of Mondim de Basto and Serra do Alvão. Organized by AMA – Associação Mondim Atletismo, this 2026 edition promises to challenge athletes with technical routes and breathtaking scenery.

The event takes place on April 18-19, 2026, starting at Aldeia de Ermelo and finishing in Mondim de Basto. The course includes trails, rural paths, levadas, rivers, and forest roads, including the climb to Alto da Senhora da Graça at 947 meters altitude.

The event is semi-self-sufficient with solid and liquid aid stations but no cups, so athletes must bring their own containers.
