About the Event
🚴 Grava Lybica: A High Mountain Gravel Weekend Adventure
Grava Lybica is a high mountain gravel weekend with Llívia as the base camp, in the heart of the Pyrenees. Organized by Grava Lybica, this event is not a traditional race but a self-supported two-day adventure on forest tracks, paths, and border trails, with timed sections but no overall classification or rush.
We always start and finish in Llívia, sharing kilometers, landscapes, and stories between Cerdanya, Capcir, and the other side of the border. The format is self-supported: you manage your own water, food, and pace; the organizers provide the route, basic safety, and meeting point. There will be marked public hydration points and an intermediate refreshment.
The social heart of the weekend is La Foguera, the village where all the beautiful things happen: music, talks, food trucks, beer, and children's activities.
🚵 Course and terrain
The route runs through forest tracks, paths, and border trails around Llívia, in the heart of the Pyrenees. The event is self-supported, so each participant must bring their own food and water, although there are hydration points and an intermediate refreshment.
