The 2nd edition of Chocalhos Trail takes place on May 31, 2026, in the parishes of Figueiró da Serra and Freixo da Serra, Gouveia municipality. Organized by Associação Veredas da Estrela, this event promotes physical activity and active tourism, highlighting mountain landscapes and local culture.

The event features two competitive trail races, the Long Trail (~21 km) and the Short Trail (~14 km), plus a recreational 8 km walk. Start and finish are in front of the Freixo da Serra Parish Hall, offering a unique and family-friendly nature experience.

Participants should be prepared for the terrain challenges, with marked routes and electronic timing. The event emphasizes environmental respect and safety, with medical support and refreshment points.
