Discover a circular route that takes runners through the iconic mountains of Barakaldo, offering exceptional views and a technically challenging course. This race is perfect for athletes seeking a technical nature challenge, with continuous ascents, irregular terrain descents, and a series of summits rewarding effort with stunning vistas.

The route starts at Parque Tellaetxe, heading towards the Retuerto neighborhood where the climb begins. Monte Argalario (514 m) is the main goal, but first you must overcome Monte Goronillo (274 m) to cross Santa Lucía neighborhood towards Monte Argalario. After reaching the summit and its mailbox, the course heads to Pico Mendibil (549 m), known for its telecommunications antenna. After the summit, the route moves to Peña Mora area to start a technical descent crossing Monte Goronillo’s slopes, approaching the “Txokos” area and connecting with the last trails to Bengolea, finishing back at Parque Tellaetxe.

This course offers a complete challenge in landscape, elevation, and fun, ideal for trail running lovers wanting to test their technique and endurance.
