The II Triathlon Río Mundo is an exciting competition organized by Club Grego Racing Team with the support of the municipalities of Riópar, Alcaraz, Vianos, Salobre, and Villapalacios. This federated event is part of the Castilla La Mancha Triathlon Federation Circuit and counts towards the regional ranking, offering a unique triathlon experience in a protected natural park.

The event takes place on July 4, 2026, starting at Embalse de Zapateros (Vianos) and finishing in Riópar. The course includes swimming, cycling, and running segments, with Sprint and Half distances suitable for both federated and non-federated athletes.

The terrain features calm waters for swimming, well-maintained asphalt roads for cycling, and moderately hilly running routes. The event is strictly organized with rigorous drafting control on the Half distance and drafting allowed on the Sprint.
