La Cala de Finestrat hosts a heartfelt sporting event: the III Cáritas Finestrat Solidarity Run, taking place Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Organized by Cáritas Parroquial de San Bartolomé and Finestrat Town Hall, with support from Grupo Scout Finestrat 733 and Grupo Brotons, this event grows to offer a 5 km run and a walk, both officially timed, plus kids' races and a donation-only option.

The route runs along the beautiful coastal area of La Cala de Finestrat, perfect for enjoying a family-friendly and supportive atmosphere by the sea. Whether competing or supporting the cause, everyone can participate to help Cáritas assist vulnerable people in the region.
