About the Event

🚵 IV Trail do Cerco 2026 in Celorico da Beira

The IV Trail do Cerco is a trail running race organized by the Municipality of Celorico da Beira, with technical support from AVCAT - Associação Vila Chã Aldeia Trail de Portugal. It is the 7th stage of the Beira Alta Trail Circuit - VI(r)VER BEIRA ALTA and part of the annual Santa Eufemia festivities.

The event offers four variants: Long Trail, Short Trail, Mini Trail, and Walk, all held on trails, rural paths, dirt roads, and streams around nearby villages. It stands out for its natural scenery and challenging mountainous routes.

The long and short races start at 09:00 and 09:15 respectively, with cutoffs of 4h and 3h. The Mini Trail and Walk start at 09:40. The race is semi-self-supported; athletes must carry their own water container as no cups are provided at aid stations.
