Experience the magic of Bizkaia's iconic cycling roads, where sea and mountains combine for an unforgettable challenge.
The 9th edition of the Gran Fondo BIBE Transbizkaia takes place on June 7, 2026, in Durango, Bizkaia. Organized by BIBE TRANSBIZKAIA, this non-competitive cycling event is one of the toughest in northern Spain, featuring routes that cross the region's main mountain passes, including the famous Urkiola pass.
Participants can choose from three distances: Gran Fondo (179 km with 3,500 m elevation gain), Medio Fondo (122 km with 2,455 m elevation gain), and La Piccola (75.6 km with 1,200 m elevation gain). The course offers spectacular scenery blending sea salt and oak aromas, combining sea and mountain in a unique setting.
