About the Event
🚶♂️ IX Marxa de l'Aigua de Sant Magí 2026
The Marxa de l'Aigua de Sant Magí is a non-competitive endurance walk organized by the Club Excursionista Alliberadrenalina, with the support of local authorities. This 9th edition follows the historic path of the blessed water of Tarragona's patron saint, from the Springs of Sant Magí de la Brufaganya to the Church of Sant Magí in Tarragona.
Participants can choose between two distances: the 35 km Marxa de l'Aigua starting in Rodonyà, and the 18 km Marxeta de l'Aigua starting in El Catllar. It's a unique experience to enjoy nature, culture, and history in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
The route runs along rural paths and trails following the ancient water route, with start and finish at emblematic locations. A bus service is provided to facilitate access to the start points.
🗓️ Main schedule:
- Bib collection: Friday, September 4th from 17:00 to 20:00 and Saturday, September 5th from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:30 to 18:00.
- Start Marxa de Sant Magí (35 km): 18:00
- Start Marxeta de Sant Magí (18 km): 20:00
🎽 Registration includes bib, insurance, and organizational support.
🚍 Bus service from Moll de Costa in Tarragona to the start points.
