🚴 La Indomable 2026: Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo in the Sierras de la Alpujarra

The International Ciclotourist March Sierras de la Alpujarra “La Indomable” is a Gran Fondo cycling event organized by the Club Ciclista de Berja inviting you to discover the stunning landscapes, villages, and roads of Las Alpujarras on June 6, 2026. With two route options, this event is perfect for cycling enthusiasts seeking a unique challenge in a privileged natural setting.

The routes start and finish in Berja, traversing mountains and valleys, accumulating up to 3,700 meters of elevation gain in the Gran Fondo and 2,890 meters in the Medio Fondo. The event takes place on roads with clear signage and strategically placed aid stations. Participants must wear an approved helmet and use bikes allowed by the RFEC, and it is recommended to carry all necessary supplies for self-sufficiency.

🎽 Registration includes Official bib, mandatory insurance (available if no federation license), aid stations with food and drink, limited medical and technical support, route signage.

🏆 Prizes Not a competitive race by finish order, but awards for best climbers on two mountain passes by age category, plus oldest finisher and most numerous club.
