🏃 Lanzarote International Marathon 2026 – Run on the Sunny Island! ☀️

The Lanzarote International Marathon takes place on the sunny island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, in December, with an average temperature of 21ºC and usually blue skies. This race welcomes all levels, from amateurs to professional runners, in a friendly and warm local atmosphere.

Organized by Sands Beach Active, this event is one of the biggest and most important running events on Lanzarote's sporting calendar, and one of the last major races in Europe each year. The course runs along the east coastline, offering stunning views and a unique experience.

The event offers several distances to suit everyone: full marathon, half marathon, 10 km, a 5 km Santa Claus themed race, and kids races held the day before the main marathon.

📍 The race takes place on roads and urban paths along the coast, with start and finish in central Las Palmas. The atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented, perfect to enjoy sport and scenery.
