🏃 Légua Diário de Coimbra 2026 – Run and Walk in the heart of Coimbra!

The Légua Diário de Coimbra is a landmark event jointly organized by Diário de Coimbra, Coimbra City Council, and the District Athletics Association of Coimbra. In 2026, its 27th edition welcomes federated and non-federated athletes as well as the general public for a unique sporting experience in the city.

The certified 5 km course runs through the historic streets of Coimbra, starting at Rua da Sofia and finishing at Praça 8 de Maio. The race is timed and part of the World Athletics calendar, while the walk is non-competitive, open to all ages, and requires wearing the official event t-shirt.
