🚴 Póvoa MTB Marathon 2026

The Póvoa MTB Marathon 2026 is a mountain bike marathon event taking place on September 6, 2026, in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. Organized by the Municipality of Póvoa de Varzim in partnership with Bikeservice, this amateur competitive race follows the Portuguese Cycling Federation regulations and the Highway Code, ensuring a safe and thrilling experience for all riders.

The challenging course offers two distances: a 70 km Marathon and a 45 km Half Marathon, both starting and finishing in Póvoa de Varzim. Mandatory use of approved helmets, electronic chip timing, medical and mechanical support, and solid and liquid refreshment points are provided.

• 10:00–18:00 — Registration at Bikeservice headquarters (Rua Gomes de Amorim nº144) Sunday, September 6:
• 07:30–08:30 — Registration near the start line (Parque da Cidade da Póvoa de Varzim)
• 09:00 — Simultaneous race start
• 15:00 — Finish line closes
• 13:00 — Awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Personalized bib, accident insurance, solid and liquid refreshments, medical and mechanical assistance, access to showers and bike wash area, electronic chip timing, personalized headlamp for registrations confirmed by August 23.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the absolute winners (male and female) in Marathon and Half Marathon, prizes for top three in categories (Elites, Masters A-D, E-bikes), and prize for the largest team.
