🏃‍♂️ Western Atlantic Half Marathon 2026 - Challenge yourself on the beautiful Flores Island! 🌊

The Western Atlantic Half Marathon takes place on June 6, 2026, in Santa Cruz das Flores, Azores, organized by CT Sports Lab and the Santa Cruz das Flores City Hall. This is a fun and inclusive event with several distances for all ages and levels, including kids races and a walking event.

The main 21.1 km race runs on roads, starting and finishing near the Natural Pools of Santa Cruz das Flores (Av. dos Baleeiros). All races share the same route except the Kids Run, which has its own course. There is a cutoff at km 15 at 12:20 and a 3-hour limit for the half marathon.

• June 1-4: Kit pickup at Ginásio Viva Mais Fitness, 08:00-13:00 and 16:00-20:00

  • 08:00-09:00: Last kit pickup at start/finish area
  • 09:00: Kids RUN and MiniKids RUN start
  • 10:00: Half Marathon start
  • 10:05: Ocean 10K start
  • 10:10: RUN 5K and Walking start

🎽 Registration includes Bib, technical t-shirt (subject to stock), gear bag, sports insurance, official aid stations at km 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20, official medal for finishers, and sponsor gifts.

🏆 Prizes Medals for all finishers. Trophies for top 3 overall and age groups in Half Marathon, Kids RUN, and MiniKids. Trophies for top 3 overall in Ocean 10K and RUN 5K. No cash prizes.
