🏃‍♂️ Douro Half Marathon 2026 - An unforgettable race in the heart of the Douro Wine Region!

The 19th edition of the Douro Wine Half Marathon takes place on May 24, 2026, organized by GlobalSport - GSX Portugal Lda. This iconic event is held in the Douro Wine Region, a UNESCO World Heritage site, covering the municipalities of Peso da Régua, Lamego, and Armamar. Known as one of the most beautiful races in the world, it offers a unique experience combining sport, nature, and local culture.

The certified 21.097 km course runs along the stunning terraces and vineyards by the Douro River, offering breathtaking views and a challenge for runners of all levels. The start and finish are in Peso da Régua, with well-placed refreshment stations and a 3-hour time limit.

In addition to the competitive half marathon, there is a 5 km recreational walk open to all ages, promoting family participation and socializing.
