The Milha Concelhia Athletics event is a key race that brings together the best regional athletes for a fast and intense 1-mile road race on the iconic Avenida António José de Almeida in Oliveira de Azeméis.

Organized by the Oliveira de Azeméis City Council with support from the Pinheiro da Bemposta Youth Group, this is the 26th edition of a race that celebrates local athletics and healthy competition among parishes.

The race takes place on a 1,609-meter urban course with staggered starts by age groups from children to veterans, creating a family-friendly and competitive atmosphere.
