🌊 Oeiras Open Water Race 2026 – Challenge the Atlantic waters!

The third edition of the Oeiras Open Water Race takes place on May 30, 2026, at the stunning Praia de Caxias in Oeiras. Organized by Clube Olímpico de Oeiras with support from the Oeiras City Hall and technical organization by HMS Sports, this unique open water event offers an unforgettable experience for swimmers of all levels.

Races take place in Atlantic waters, starting and finishing at Praia de Caxias. The course consists of laps marked by buoys, with distances of 750m, 1500m, and 3000m. The event uses electronic timing with mandatory chip and swim cap provided by the organization. Safety is ensured with medical support and strict course control.

• Open Water 1500 m – 1.5 km · Start 11:00 · Cutoff 50 min
• Open Water 750 m – 0.75 km · Start 12:00 · Cutoff 40 min
• 3 Distances Pack (3000m + 1500m + 750m) – Start 09:00
• Kids Oeiras Games (150m and 300m races for children) – Start 12:40 and 13:00

• 07:00 – Locker room opens and kit delivery (3,000m + pack)

• 09:00 to 10:45 – Kit delivery (1,500 m)

• 10:45 to 11:45 – Kit delivery (750 m)

🎽 Registration includes Swim cap, chip, technical t-shirt, solid and liquid refreshment kit at finish, sports insurance, and electronic timing.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 male and female finishers in each distance and pack, team prizes for 1,500m and 3,000m races, and free entry for 2027 edition for age group winners.
