Discover the unique adventure of the Paiva Montemuro Trail, a trail running event that takes you through the stunning nature of the Paiva River and Montemuro Mountains in Castro Daire. Organized by Grupo Desportivo de Parada and Casa do Povo de Parada de Ester, this is your chance to challenge technical trails and enjoy breathtaking scenery.

The event takes place on September 6, 2026, starting and finishing at the Parada de Ester Football Field. The course includes technical singletracks, trails along the river, and challenging climbs to the Fragas do Inferno, finishing with a technical descent to the finish line. The race is semi-self-sufficient; participants must bring their own cup for aid stations.
