Discover the adventure and challenge of nature at Penacova Trail do Centro, a trail running event that takes you through mountainous trails and stunning landscapes in Penacova, Portugal. Organized by Carlos Sá Nature Events, this event is part of the Best Trail Series and the ATRP National Circuit, offering a unique experience for trail lovers.

The event takes place on September 5 and 6, 2026, with a 2 km individual time trial prologue on the 5th and three competitive distances on the 6th: 46 km, 31 km, and Mini Trail/Walk 16 km. The course features technical high mountain trails with significant elevation changes and requires excellent physical condition and autonomy.

Start and finish are at Praia do Reconquinho, Penacova, with solid and liquid aid stations at strategic points. The race is semi-self-supported, so each athlete must bring their own hydration container as no plastic bottles or cups will be provided.
