🏃‍♂️ São Silvestre Idanha-a-Nova 2026: Challenge yourself in this iconic year-end race!

The 11th edition of the São Silvestre race in Idanha-a-Nova takes place on December 5, 2026, organized by Club União Idanhense with support from the City Council and local entities. This event is open to all athletes with multiple age categories and a strong local tradition.

The course runs through Idanha-a-Nova city, starting and finishing at the Escola Superior de Gestão (ESGIN). Distances are adapted for all ages, from children to veterans, including a 5 km non-competitive walk/run for those who want a more relaxed participation.

• São Silvestre Kids – various distances from 700 m to 5 km depending on age group · Starts between 18:00 and 18:55
• São Silvestre Race – 10 km · Start 19:00
• Non-competitive Walk/Run – 5 km · Start 19:00

• 20:30 – Awards ceremony at Feira Raiana Tent

🎽 Registration includes Personalized bib, jersey, finisher medal, traditional soup and drink, sports insurance.
