The 6th edition of the Trail de São João da Vila takes place on June 6, 2026, in Vila Franca do Campo, Azores, organized by Clube Desportivo de Vila Franca with support from the local municipality. This special event covers all parishes of the municipality, finishing together at Praia da Vinha d’Areia, creating a festive and communal atmosphere for runners and walkers of all levels.

The courses feature rural trails, forest paths, and some paved sections, crossing agricultural, inhabited, and protected natural areas. The race is semi-self-supported, with solid and liquid aid stations where participants must bring their own cups or bottles.

• 07:30 — TSJV Trail start (Pestana Bahia Praia)
• 07:30 — Transfer TSJV Trail Sprint, Mini Trail and Walking to Praia Vinha d’Areia
• 09:30 — TSJV Trail Sprint start (Lagoa do Congro)
• 09:45 — Mini Trail and Walking start (Lagoa do Congro)
• 14:30 — Awards ceremony (Aquaparque)
• 15:00 — Finish line closes

🎽 Registration includes Personal accident insurance, personalized bib, solid and liquid aid stations, transfers to start locations, showers, official finisher prize, participant kit with official shirt, final meal with vegan option, and open bar.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 overall male and female in competitive races, age group prizes, and top 3 teams. Walking is non-competitive with no prizes.
