🚴‍♂️ Costa Nova Triathlon 2026

The Costa Nova Triathlon is an Olympic distance event combining swimming, cycling, and running in an open and accessible format for all, organized by Illiabum Clube in partnership with Momentum Events and local entities. It takes place on September 12, 2026, in the stunning Costa Nova do Prado, offering a unique sporting experience by the lagoon and beach.

The course includes 1500m swimming in the lagoon, 40 km cycling circuit between Costa Nova and Vagueira (3 laps), and 10 km running on bike paths and pedestrian ways in Costa Nova Garden (3 laps). The race is competitive and recreational, with chip timing and solid and liquid aid stations.

• 09:30–13:00 — Registration and bib pickup (Costa Nova Campsite)
• 14:30–15:30 — Transition area access and technical inspection
• 15:30 — Transition area closes
• 16:00 — Triathlon start
• 17:40 — Estimated arrival of absolute winner
• 19:15 — Awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Personalized bib (for registrations until August 29), solid and liquid aid stations, chip timing, personal accident insurance, first aid and medical assistance, access to changing rooms and showers at Costa Nova Campsite.

🏆 Prizes Top 3 finishers by age group and gender, plus top 3 male and female teams. Categories from Paratriathlete to various age groups between 18 and 99 years.
