🚵‍♂️ Ultra Geira Romana 2026: Challenge your limits on an epic adventure through the historic trails of the Geira Romana!

The 17th edition takes place on April 26, 2026, organized by Confraria Trotamontes and Clube Orientação do Minho, supported by the municipalities of Amares and Terras de Bouro. This unique event combines history, nature, and sport, featuring the National Ultra Series 100 and National Trail Sprint Series 150.

The main 50 km race starts at the Geira Museum in Terras de Bouro and finishes in Caldelas, Amares, following ancient Roman roads connecting Braga to Astorga. The 18 km Trail starts in São Sebastião da Geira and also finishes in Caldelas. The 10 km walk takes place on trails and streets around Caldelas.

Semi-self-sufficient race with solid and liquid aid stations. Mandatory thermal blanket, mobile phone, and whistle, with penalties for non-compliance.

🎽 Registration includes Sports insurance, bib, solid and liquid aid stations, technical event t-shirt, transport to starts (50 km and 18 km), finisher medal, shower at Caldelas Municipal Pool.

🏆 Prizes Non-monetary prizes for top overall and age group finishers in male and female categories for Ultra Trail and Trail races. Prizes for top three teams.
