🚴 UMT - Ultra Maratona Templários 2026

The Ultra Maratona Templários (UMT) is a challenging one-day mountain bike and gravel endurance race organized by Clube Desportivo Templários BTT e Aventura, taking place on October 3, 2026, in Tomar. This event offers a unique challenge for mountain biking and gravel enthusiasts, featuring technical and demanding routes through trails, forest paths, and unpaved roads.

The circular course starts and finishes in Tomar, covering approximately 145 km with 3500 meters of elevation gain, rated as high to very high difficulty. Besides the main UMT, there are variants including the Templários MTB Marathon (85 km), UMT Gravel (125 km), Templários Gravel Marathon (85 km), and E-bikes Marathon (85 km).

The course is GPS-navigated and unmarked on the ground, requiring participants to have suitable equipment and navigation skills. The race is individual, with strict timing controls and mandatory time checkpoints.
