🚵‍♂️ UTAX AXtrail®2026 - Challenge your limits in the Aldeias do Xisto!

The UTAX AXtrail®2026 is a trail running event held from October 16 to 18, 2026, in Castanheira de Pera, Portugal. Organized by Clube de Praticantes Mondego Ultra Trail, this is the 12th AXtrail and the 8th edition of UTAX, offering a unique trail running experience through the Aldeias do Xisto territory, combining challenge, nature, and local culture.

The event features competitive races of various distances, from the 107 km UTAX ultra trail to more accessible races like Caminho do Xisto and social events such as AXtrail Kids and AXtrail da Inclusão. The courses run through mountainous terrain with natural trails, starting and finishing at Praça da Notabilidade in Castanheira de Pera. Athletes must be semi-self-sufficient between aid stations providing solid and liquid refreshments.
