🚴♂️ VI Half Gasteiz 2026 - Middle Distance Triathlon in Vitoria-Gasteiz
The VI Half Gasteiz 2026 takes place on June 6, 2026, in the beautiful city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava province, Spain. Organized by CD vi half gasteiz, this event is a middle-distance triathlon that counts towards the Spanish Triathlon Federation national ranking and the Basque Country and Álava regional championships.
The race starts with a 1,900-meter swim in the calm, natural waters of the Ullíbarri-Gamboa reservoir in Garaio Natural Park, offering a unique nature experience. Next is a 90 km cycling route through the Alava plains, with about 700 meters of elevation gain, passing historic villages and spectacular landscapes.
To finish, athletes run a half marathon of 21 km in three laps through the central streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz, including the iconic Aldapa climb, where passionate crowds cheer on runners to the finish line located at Plaza de los Fueros.
