🏔️ VIII Trail Elvas – World Heritage 2026

Discover the magic of Elvas while challenging your limits at the VIII Trail Elvas, a race that combines sport, culture, and heritage in a unique UNESCO World Heritage setting.

Organized by Associação Desportiva IALBAX with support from the Elvas City Council and the Military Museum of Elvas, the event takes place on December 6, 2026, featuring three competitive trail running races and a non-competitive walk.

The routes mostly run around the historic surroundings of Elvas, passing iconic monuments such as Forte da Graça and the Amoreira Aqueduct, offering a unique experience that blends physical effort with cultural discovery.

The races are self-supported with four aid stations along the routes and require mandatory equipment to ensure participant safety.

🎽 Registration includes Bib, sports insurance, liquid and solid refreshments, Finisher prize, various gifts, showers and bathing area, free photo registration.

🏆 Prizes Awards for top 3 overall and age groups in male and female categories in competitive races. Trophy for largest team and team classification. Walk has no classification or prizes.
