The Entroncamento City Hall, in collaboration with the Leisure, Adventure and Competition Club of Entroncamento (CLAC-Entroncamento), organizes this iconic sporting event celebrating athletics and local railway heritage. The race takes place on September 20, 2026, starting and finishing at the National Railway Museum in Entroncamento, promoting healthy lifestyles and camaraderie among athletes of all levels.

The event includes a 10 km road race and the 11th José Canelo City Railway Walk, approximately 7 km, non-competitive. The race is open to those aged 18 and over, and the walk to all ages, with special attention to safety due to open traffic.

The race course is on roads, with aid stations at 5 km and the finish. The walk has aid at the finish. The event duration is a maximum of 2 hours, ending at 12:00 when traffic is restored.
