What is the event schedule?

Registration opens on May 9 at 13:00 and races take place on May 9 and 10 with starts between 15:00 and 18:00.

Registrations must be made online on the Portuguese Triathlon Federation website by April 27 at 23:59.

What equipment is mandatory?

A hard helmet is mandatory during cycling and a swim cap during swimming. The race bib must be visible during cycling and running.

About the Event

🚴‍♂️ 39th Oeiras Triathlon 2026

The 39th Oeiras Triathlon is a national sprint triathlon championship organized by the Portuguese Triathlon Federation with support from the Oeiras City Council. This prestigious event gathers top athletes in Elite, Junior, Cadet, Age Group and Paratriathlon categories, plus an open race for all.

The race takes place in the beautiful city of Oeiras, with swimming at Praia da Torre beach, cycling along the scenic seafront on an out-and-back course, and running also on the seafront. The course is on well-maintained asphalt, with distances tailored to each category.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 in each category and gender across Elite, Junior, Cadet, Age Group, Paratriathlon and Open races. Monetary prizes for top 10 men and women in Elite race, totaling €5770.
