About the Event
π΅ Zazpibide Trail 2026 Enjoy the second edition of the Zazpibide Trail, a mountain race organized by the Bidetxur club in Ibarra, with start and finish at the town square. A 15.5 km route with 653 m positive elevation gain crossing the beautiful landscapes of Ibarra, Tolosa, Leaburu, and Belauntza!
This race is suitable for all types of runners, with many short climbs allowing for a dynamic pace. There will be cash prizes for the top three men and women, as well as special awards for the first local runner and the first under-18 runner.
The course starts and finishes at Ibarra's plaza, with marked trails and a refreshment point at km 10. The race is semi-self-sufficient, so each runner must carry their own container for refills. The runner's bag includes food and drinks at the finish, with shower and baggage services at the Belabieta sports center.
