DEMO TRAIL

🚵‍♂️ DEMO TRAIL 2026 in Vila Nova de Paiva

Demo Trail is a trail running event organized by Malhadinhas Clube with support from Vila Nova de Paiva Municipality, taking place on May 17, 2026. It offers a unique experience on the trails and paths of the region, with challenging routes and stunning natural scenery.

The course mainly runs on mountain trails with dirt roads, stones, and some asphalt sections, crossing river areas and rural zones. Start and finish are at Parque Botânico Arbutus do Demo, with athlete transport from the town center to the start.

• Medium Ultra Trail – ±45 km · Start 08:30 · Cutoff 10h · Minimum age 18
• Sprint Trail – ±24 km · Start 09:00 · Cutoff 7h · Minimum age 18
• Short Trail – ±15 km · Start 09:15 · Minimum age 12 (with parental consent)
• Walk – ±9 km · Start 09:30 · Recreational participation

• 14:30 – 19:00 — Registration and bib pick-up (Auditório Carlos Paredes) May 17 (Sunday):

• 07:10 — Transport to Ultra Trail start
• 07:30 — Control Zero opens
• 08:30 — Ultra Trail start
• 08:30 — Control Zero opens (Sprint and Short Trail)
• 09:00 — Sprint Trail start
• 09:00 — Registration closes
• 09:15 — Short Trail start
• 09:30 — Walk start
• 13:30 — Awards ceremony
• 18:00 — Event closes

🎽 Registration includes Participation, sports insurance, solid and liquid refreshments, shower, lunch, finisher medal. Trail races also include Socksby socks. Optional extras: Race HG technical T-shirt (+€12), Socksby socks (+€3.5).

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 men and women in each race and age category, plus team prizes (1st to 3rd). No prizes for the walk.
