The 6th edition of the Setúbal Open Water Race takes place on March 28, 2026, at the stunning Praia do Creiro in Setúbal. Organized by HMS Sports Consulting, Lda with support from the Setúbal City Council, this event is sanctioned by the Portuguese Swimming Federation and offers a unique open water swimming experience in the Atlantic Ocean.

Participants can choose from three exciting distances: 750 meters, 1,500 meters, and 3,000 meters, with the option to take on the 3 distances Pack for the full challenge. The race starts and finishes at Praia do Creiro, with clearly marked open water courses ensuring safety and fair competition.

• Open Water 750 m – Start 12:00 · Cutoff 40 min · Minimum age 15
• 3 Distances Pack (3,000m + 1,500m + 750m) – Start 09:00 · Minimum age 15

⏰ Schedule

• 07:00 – Locker room opens and kit pickup for 3,000 m and 3 Distances Pack
• 08:50 – Kit pickup closes for 3,000 m and Pack
• 09:00 – Start 3,000 m and 3 Distances Pack
• 09:00 to 10:45 – Kit pickup for 1,500 m
• 10:15 – 3,000 m podium
• 10:45 to 11:45 – Kit pickup for 750 m
• 11:00 – Start 1,500 m
• 11:40 – 1,500 m podium
• 12:00 – Start 750 m
• 12:30 – 750 m and Pack podium
• 13:00 – Event close

🎽 Registration includes Cap and chip provided by the organization, technical t-shirt, solid and liquid refreshment kit at finish, sports insurance, and electronic timing.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top three male and female finishers in each distance, team prizes for 1,500 m and 3,000 m races, and free entry for 2027 edition for category winners.
