🚀 Trilhos dos Heróis - Sunset Trail 2026

Experience the thrill of Trilhos dos Heróis, a trail running event organized by the Volunteer Firefighters of Vila Franca das Naves, taking place on September 26, 2026, in Vila Franca das Naves, Trancoso municipality. It's the perfect chance to challenge yourself in a stunning natural setting with technical trails and unique landscapes of the Beira Alta region.

The routes mostly follow trails and rural paths with varied terrain and elevation, offering a challenging and fun trail experience. The start and finish are at the Volunteer Firefighters' Headquarters of Vila Franca das Naves, passing through natural and rural areas of Trancoso. The race is semi-self-sufficient; athletes must carry their own water containers as no cups are provided at aid stations.

🎽 Registration includes Race participation, personal accident insurance, solid and liquid refreshments at aid stations, hot showers after the race, finisher prize, final refreshments, gifts (if provided), and light meal.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top 3 overall male and female finishers in the Long and Short Trail races. Prizes for top 3 in each age category in competitive races. Prize for the three largest teams. No competitive prizes for the walk, only finisher prize.
