The 5th edition of Vulcan Trail takes place on January 3, 2027, in Igreja Nova, Mafra, Lisbon district. Organized by Grupo Desportivo de Igreja Nova, this trail running event promotes sport in natural environments and regional tourism.

Start and finish at the Football Field of Grupo Desportivo de Igreja Nova, with routes through trails, roads, and rural paths crossing villages and natural areas. The race is semi-self-sufficient, with liquid and solid supplies where athletes must carry their own water container.

🎽 Registration includes Participation in one race, bib with chip included for trails, chipless bib for walk, finisher medal, sports insurance, solid and liquid supplies, logistical and technical support, first aid, and gifts. Optional technical t-shirt and hot meal available.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 male and female overall in Long and Short Trail, age group prizes, and prizes for the three teams with most participants. Walk is non-competitive.
