The Sant Vicent Footrace in La Nucía is one of Alicante's most popular athletics events, organized by Grupo Brotons. In 2026 we celebrate its 21st edition, a festive event attracting runners and families to enjoy a route combining urban sections and natural trails.

The course offers a cross-country experience with start and finish around the Hermitage of Sant Vicent del Captivador, blending urban and natural areas for all levels. The race also includes hiking and Nordic walking options, plus kids' races to encourage family and community participation.

This event is a key sporting and social springtime occasion in Alicante province.
